3-hour walking guided tour
HIGHLIGHTS OF WARSAW
If you have the possibility to skip some of the noon sessions, we invite you to take a Warsaw guided tour.
During our Conference we give you the possibility to check out some of the Warsaw Highlights with a professional guide.
The 3-hour tours will begin in front of the University of Warsaw Campus, our conference venue, at 10:30 AM on the 25th, 26th, and 27th of July. We have booked 20 places for each day. Price per person is 15 PLN (about 4 euro) payable at conference desk one day before the tour.

10:30AM – meeting with a guide in front of entrance to the University of Warsaw
10:30AM-11:00AM – walk along the Royal Route: University of Warsaw, Staszic Palace, Copernicus monument, Holy Cross Church, Chopin’s benches, Piłsudski Square
11:00AM-11:05AM – change of guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
11:05AM-11:30AM – walk towards the Castle Square: Saxon Garden, Theatre Square, Castle Square, Sigismund’s Column, Royal Castle
11:30AM-01:00PM – walk across the Old Town: Archcathedral of Saint John, Kanonie Square, Gnojna Hill viewing terrace, UNESCO Monument, Main Market Square with Warsaw’s Mermaid monument, Barbicane, house of birth of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Warsaw Ghetto boundary markers, Supreme Court building, Field Cathedral of Polish Army, Warsaw Rising monument, city walls
01:00PM-01:30PM – walk along the Royal Route: St. Anne’s Church, building of the laboratory linked with Maria Skłodowska-Curie, Canaletto paintings, Presidential Palace
01:30PM – the end of the tour in front of entrance to the University of Warsaw
